This policy covers mineersmilecenter.com, run by Mineers Smile Center in Beirut. In it, “we” means the clinic. If you use the Mineers mobile app, the app has its own privacy policy.

What we collect

When you request a consultation

The booking form asks for:

• your first and last name;
• your phone number (WhatsApp) and your email address;
• what you would like to change, or the treatment you are interested in;
• the date and time you would like to visit;
• how you would like us to reach you: WhatsApp, a phone call or email; and
• a short note, if you choose to write one.

The form does not ask for your medical history. Your health is something we talk about at the consultation, and you decide what to tell us before then.

When you contact us another way

If you message us on WhatsApp, call, or email, we receive what you send, together with your number or address. WhatsApp and your phone or email provider handle those messages under their own policies.

When you use the chat assistant

Some pages offer a chat assistant, provided by Hala. What you type is sent to Hala so that the assistant can reply, and a random identifier is saved in your browser so the conversation can carry on when you open another page. Please do not type medical details, ID numbers or payment details into the chat. To book, use the booking form or contact us directly.

Automatically, when you visit

Like any website, ours is delivered through hosting and security providers (GoDaddy and Cloudflare), which see your IP address, your browser and device type, and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and spot misuse.

Advertising and measurement

We use the Google tag (Google Ads) and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) on mineersmilecenter.com. They help us see how people find the website and whether an advertisement led to a booking request, and they support our advertising. They may set cookies or use similar identifiers, and they receive information about your visit: the pages you open, the buttons you press (such as WhatsApp, phone and booking buttons) and when a booking request has been sent. The report we send when you book contains the treatment chosen and the listed fee for it, not your name, phone number or email.

Content loaded from other services

• Google Fonts supplies our typefaces from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address.
• Google Maps shows where we are on the contact page.
• YouTube: some pages show a preview picture of a film, loaded from YouTube. The film itself plays only when you press play, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player.

Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Google and other sites take you away from this website, and their own policies apply from that point.

Cookies

The website’s own code does not set cookies. Our security provider may set a technical cookie to tell visitors from automated traffic; Google and Meta may set theirs when their tags run; and the chat assistant keeps its random identifier in your browser’s local storage. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, and manage ad personalisation in your Google ad settings and Meta ad preferences. Blocking them does not stop you from using the site or requesting a consultation.

Why we use it

• to answer your request, arrange and confirm your consultation, and contact you in the way you chose;
• to reply to your messages;
• to run, secure and improve the website;
• to measure and run our advertising; and
• to keep our records and meet our legal duties.

Who sees it

Booking requests are saved in the clinic’s own booking system, which is hosted with Supabase, and are seen by the team members who handle appointments. To run and measure the website we use the providers named above: GoDaddy and Cloudflare, Google, Meta and Hala. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it if the law requires, or to protect someone’s safety or the clinic’s legal rights.

Where it is processed

Our providers run their services in several countries, so your information may be processed outside Lebanon. Each provider’s own policy applies to how it handles information.

How long we keep it

We keep booking requests and messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request, to keep our records and to meet legal duties. If you would like yours deleted sooner, ask us.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to stop us contacting you. Email [email protected] or call +961 3 757 127. Where the law where you live gives you further rights, we will act on them as the law requires. To delete an account in the Mineers mobile app, use the account deletion page.

Security

Pages and booking requests travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us anything you would not want others to see.

Children

This website is for adults. If you book for a child, please do so as a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
