In brief

An implant is placed in the chair. Its precision is decided long before, on screen.

An implant is a small titanium screw that takes the place of a missing tooth’s root. It is fitted into the jawbone, and over time the bone grows tightly around it and holds it firmly. A porcelain tooth is then fixed on top.

01 / Consultation

We listento you.

A missing tooth changes how you chew, speak and smile. We start with you: your health, your expectations and the teeth you want to replace.

Most healthy adults can have an implant, as long as there is enough bone in the jaw to hold it. A 3D scan and an examination tell us for certain.

What we check

  1. iHow much bone you have, and its shape
  2. iiThe health of your gums
  3. iiiHow your teeth meet when you bite
  4. ivYour general health
  5. vThe teeth you want to replace

We look at what you need, explain your choices, and give you a clear plan for your own case.

An implant has three parts: a titanium screw in the bone, a small connector, and the porcelain tooth on top.

The angle, the depth and the exact spot for the implant are all decided on screen before anything is cut. We then 3D print a small guide that sits over your teeth and holds the drill exactly where the plan says it should go.

    Exactly where we planned

The implant goes in to within a fraction of a millimetre of the plan.

  2. 3.2

    Less cutting

A smaller opening and a shorter procedure, so you heal faster and feel less afterwards.

  3. 3.3

    No surprises

The whole operation is worked through on the computer first, so the result is the one you were shown.

  4. 3.4

    Clear of the nerves

The guide keeps the drill well clear of the nerves and the sinus.

    The bone grows around it

As it heals, the bone locks the implant in place. You wear a temporary tooth meanwhile. Dentists call this osseointegration.

  2. 4.2

The connector is fitted, then a porcelain tooth made to match the ones beside it.

An implant placed exactly where it was planned stays steady.

Where many teeth are missing, a whole arch can be held by four implants.

Questions

Dental implants,answered.

01How much do dental implants cost in Beirut?

Every plan is different, so the cost is discussed with you at your consultation, once your teeth have been examined and your treatment is planned.

02Are dental implants permanent?

Dental implants are designed as a long-term solution for missing teeth. The titanium post fuses with your jawbone through the bone growing tightly around it, providing a stable foundation that, with good care, is built to last.

03Is dental implant surgery painful?

The procedure is performed under a local anaesthetic, so you feel pressure, not pain, during surgery. Some mild discomfort afterward is normal and easily managed with ordinary painkillers.

04Who is a candidate for dental implants?

Most adults with good general health, and enough bone in the jaw, can have one. Our team at Mineers Smile Center will perform a 3D scan and examination to tell us whether it will work for you.
